Cover for IKEA POÄNG armchair - Event Grey. Neutrals (black, grey, white, and brown) are basic to the decorator’s tool kit. All-neutral schemes fall in and out of fashion, but their virtue lies in their flexibility: add color to liven things up; subtract it to calm things down. About the fabric
Event Grey is a 100% polyester crepe fabric. The fabric is extremely durable, available in the most popular colour combinations. One of the most efficient choice for upholstery that money can buy. It is a synthetic fabric suitable for environments with special requirements regarding cleaning. Event is washable both by hand and machine (40/60C).

Care instructions
Machine wash at 60°C. Don't use chlorine bleach. Dry clean. Tumble dry at low temperature. Cool iron.

I ordered the wrong size cover the first time. Shipping to return it was going to be more than the cover cost so I kept it, and ordered another in the correct size. The cover is very well made. Dog hair brushes off easily. I have not tried to wash it yet, but very pleased with the the quality so far. Pay close attention to the sofa model when ordering!

Wow. The velvet feels soft and luxurious. I typically dislike the feeling of all velvet and was very surprised when the forest green velvet was not only the perfect color, but obvious choice for our karlstad. The cushions are plumped up a bit on our chaise after replacing the cover which is an unexpected bonus. Along with a great new look, it is more comfortable to sit on. Thanks covercouch! I’m sure we’ll be back!

I ordered a cover in Sahara Grey for my Karlstad three seat sofa bed and the fabric quality is great. I’m very pleased with the fabric itself and the construction. The only thing I can say that’s not perfect are the zippers. They feel slightly cheap and not the same quality as the original ones. Overall I am very happy with it so far...I must say I just put it in though, so I can’t say how it has worn yet ;)

We ordered a velvet cover for our nearly 10-year-old IKEA Karlstad L-shaped couch. I DEFINITELY recommend ordering samples first; We ended up not liking the fabric we thought would be our #1 choice, much to our surprise. Samples are a MUST. The cover arrived quickly and was well packaged. Putting the cover on is always a bit of a pain with the Karlstad because you basically have to take the couch apart to do it! But the covers went on easily and the velcro holds up, although on the ends of both long sections the velcro didn't align with the velcro strips on the couch -- the cover was just an inch or two too long in those sections. I ended up installing new velcro on the couch there; it was an easy fix. The corner piece had the opposite problem; the cover wouldn't stretch to meet the velcro strips on the sides that met the longer sections. I just left them unsecured; the side pieces keep it in place. The cushion covers were a bit looser than I'd like, but I recognize that the cushions are also older so have lost some of their volume. I plan to cover buttons and tuft the back cushions, so that will help. Altogether, though, I'm pleased, and I would definitely order from CoverCouch again.
