Excellent fit; Excellent materials. Nothing bad to say, except on my behalf - I should have thought out the colors more... the "red" in this brings out the blue in my side chair, and the white wall now makes the room seem rather patriotic - red white and blue - not what I was going for. But, as I said - the cover is excellent. Make sure you get samples really think out your colors as there are no returns because of your wrong choice. Now trying to sell it..,

Most of you know that you can't get the replacement covers from Ikea any more...so rather than ditch the sofa, we went looking. And came upon this brand of replacement covers. The prices are much better than the "other" place (begins with B..) We had ordered samples of the fabrics before and we're very impressed with the quality of the fabric. I had a couple of questions that were answered promptly...We received the covers (after shipping updates) in a timely manner and went ahead and put them on...they go on easily because the fabric back has a kind of finish on it that makes it slip a bit easier than it would otherwise...there are a couple of places that are not identically made to the original, for example, the chaise seat (without the cushion) has no cover...it just goes around the outer edges of the bottom and velcros in place. It's minor, but should be noted.
Take your time installing these. It will make a huge difference in the finish if you can get it as tight as possible (and the stitching and fabric will take a decent amount of pulling).
Overall I'm very impressed! It looks like a new sofa!!

We got the palermo in both forest green and indigo. The fabric is soft and super durable. We have 2 cats that are notorious couch arm shredders (they've even destroyed the arm of our leather club chair) and they couldn't even dent this fabric. They just gave up after trying a couple times. The color is the most perfect earthy deep green, better than the image shows on my laptop. The fit was mostly good. The cover for the bottom piece of the Kivik base had velcro where there was nothing to attach it to and so as we've used it the base tends to sag and slip so it needs to be pulled tight occasionally. The rest of the pieces fit perfectly and held tight. We are super happy with this one!
